The Keukenhof was one of the cooler things I've ever been to in my life so far. The only unfortunate part was that none of the fields were in bloom. I know. That's sort of the point of the place. BUT the parts that we did see were still so beautiful and definitely worth the trip. And I've seen the fields in all their brown-ness in real life now and I've seen them in photographs galore in all their colorful glory so I can imagine putting the two together in my head. We stopped in each greenhouse area that they had to see all the variety that would soon be out in the natural world.
The wall of orchids.
Dad: Just stand back a little further from there.
Mom: ...Where? There's nowhere for me to go!
Sorry for the lack of posting the last two days. I'll be back in full force on Monday with the rest of our Amsterdam trip and then PARIS. Oh my gosh, Paris. Every time I go, there's something new and wonderful to see. Even if I started repeating experiences, I wouldn't be disappointed. Enough gushing on that though.
Enjoy your weekends everyone. We're looking forward to two more days of my parent's visit!
