After the service at Westminster, with no other plan in mind, we decided to take a stroll along the Thames.
We were walking down the street and due to the excessive run that morning, I'd been basically hungry all day long and was craving a Chipotle burrito. We had actually seen a restaurant earlier that day so my cravings weren't totally unattainable for once! Attempting to plan the quickest route back to where we'd spotted it, we smelled Mexican food. I thought for a moment that my brain had actually begun to take on a life of it's own, making me smell things that weren't there when we found the food truck pictured above along the Thames. How amazing is that?
As we sat there with our burritos, a very wonderful thing happened. "Dog Days Are Over" came on the radio in the truck. Its melody reached us in our seats on the eve of our anniversary. Our wedding day came right back to us. We walked into the reception to that song and it started the best party we've ever hosted ....Well, co-hosted...thanks Moms and Dads! Quick plug for our DJ, if you're planning a wedding in the Rochester area and want a party...get in touch with me and I'll get you his information. Best. DJ. Ever.
Fairytale twinkle lights in the trees all along the river.
How can I get more burritos...
