Two feet in two countries

This is the view from the street next to ours on this stay. Our last few hours in the beautiful city we wandered along the Seine from our apartment, starting at the Louvre and walking up to Pont Alexandre III bridge and back before catching a metro to the train to Belgium.

Megan let me use her as my model all morning while Sean was a little more camera shy. I did snag one of him up there at the top!

The next day Megan and Sean physically had their feet in the real Upstate New York while I was still over here in Belgium. Coincidentally I am heading to Paris today with Chris for our last weekend trip there. It's time to say goodbye to Paris. It makes me a little sad but I am confident we'll try to get back someday. Mostly it makes me a little butterflies-in-my-tummy-nervous-excited because it's becoming really real. We're checking the last trips off our list with only 32 days to go...!
